We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God given to men (1Timothy 3:16); it is the final authority in every area of life (Matthew 28:18, 20). We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three Persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth (Matthew 1:18), His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death, in His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His Ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that receiving Jesus Christ as one’s personal Lord and Savior is the one and only way for the salvation of the lost and sinful man (John 14:6).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, indwelling of the believer upon receiving Jesus Christ, as his personal Lord and Savior (Ephesians 1:13-14), and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit which empowers the believer to be a living witness for Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8). This is a separate experience from salvation.
We believe deliverance is available to all who are oppressed by evil. Jesus’ ministry throughout the Gospels was marked by multiple deliverances. He commanded us to cast out devils (Matthew 10:8, John 14:12). Deliverance is expressed by healing, freedom from bondages, broken addictions, lifted oppression, joy, and restoration (Matthew 4:23-25, Mark 5:1-10, Acts 10:38).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life with the Lord (1 Thessalonian 4:17); and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation (Daniel 12:2).
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the Divine Healing, and that healing has been provided for, in the Atonement. We believe in sanctification by the blood of Christ, in personal holiness of heart and life, and in separation from the love of the world. We believe the redemptive work of Cross that salvation for humanity (Hebrews 10:4,6).
We deeply believe in the Fruit of Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and gifts of Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4,11; Ephesians 4:12) we strongly believe in a new Heaven and earth (Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:1).
We believe marriage is the institution of our Creator between a man and a woman. As such, it is blessed in the ceremony of our Churches to realize in humanity God’s design for love. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:27-28) “Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24) The bond of marriage between a man and a woman lasts all the days of their lives. “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate” (Mark 10:9, Genesis 2:18, Matthew 19:4-9, Mark 10:5-12).
We believe in Jesus’ great commission to all believers: Commanding us to go into all the world and share the Gospel of God’s kingdom with signs following (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18).
We believe in the five-fold ministry equipping the Saints and perfecting the body of Christ for His coming. Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers are still in operation today and will continue until Christ’s return (Ephesians 4:11–13, 1 Corinthians 12:28-29). These offices are given to individuals specifically called by Jesus Christ to the office for the purpose of edifying the Church, fulfilling God’s purposes and bringing unity (Ephesians 4:1-3). They are not meant for selfish gain or soulish profit.
We believe in supporting Christians around the world who are persecuted for their faith, partaking in their sufferings as blessing and seeking to relieve their hardships if somehow we might join in their eternal reward (Matthew 5:10-12, John 16:1-3). Suffering for righteousness and persecution are a normal part of Christianity experienced by Jesus and the early church (2 Timothy 3:12, Acts 5:30-31, 1 Peter 3:14). Jesus said in this world we would have trouble but to fear not for He overcame the world (John 16:32-33).
We believe in providing humanitarian aid and charity as able, particularly as it pertains to supporting third-world Christians (Acts 4:32-35, Acts 2:45, Acts 6:3).
We believe in the Global, regional and local communities of believers as one corporate body of Christ, aka “the universal Church”, of which Jesus Christ is the head leader (Ephesians 4:15-16). We believe in equipping the church by strengthening local churches. Regular participation in a local church is essential in the lives of believers for continued spiritual growth.
We believe in full immersion baptism by water in the example Jesus set for us (Matthew 28:18, Romans 6:3-4).
We believe in full immersion baptism by water in the example Jesus set for us (Matthew 28:18, Romans 6:3-4).
We believe prayer is a two-way intimate communication between humanity and God. God still answers prayer today. Jesus taught us how to pray and continues to make intercession before God on our behalf (Matthew 6:9-13, Romans 8:27,34). We are exhorted to pray without ceasing or extinguishing (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Leviticus 6:13). Prayer was an essential discipline of the early church and is still essential in the lives of believers today (1 Timothy 2:8). When the corporate body of Christ prays together, the sick are healed, families restored, communities changed, and supernatural revival is birthed (Acts 1:14, 2:1; James 5:13-18).
